Definitely softens my hair. However it is very messy to apply, and is very expensive (get through bottle very quickly as the directions are to apply 3 of the huge pippets). Not sure it provides enough result for the cost

Love it!

I actually really liked this! I was afraid it would leave my scalp oily especially because it feels like it tells you to use a lot..but was pleasantly surprised that it didn’t! It has a strong smell but I really liked it..kinda like manly grapefruit. Also the most important part, I did notice I was losing less hair on a regular basis! Would recommend. Good but expensive

I received this serum along with anti-hairfall shampoo and conditioner. I used this serum on my dry hair, which is prone to breakage and fall due to postpartum changes and the winter weather. The serum is lightweight and non greasy. I used it only 2 or 3 times a week for a few weeks, yet I noticed desirable changes. My hair looked shiny, less tangled, and overall healthy. As I haven't stopped using it yet, I can not talk to the longevity of these results. The smell is good and feels luxurious for the premium price. This has been one of the best products I have used on my hair for a really long time. It keeps my hair so hydrated and healthy. A little does go a long way. Too scented...

I received this product for free from Topbox Marketing for testing and review purposes. I’m not happy with this serum. I have a sensitive scalp, and it irritates my skin and seems to trigger hair fall. I also don’t understand why a hair serum that’s meant to treat the scalp would contain fragrance at all, especially when fragrance is a known irritant.

“Worth the price & Noticeable Difference!”

HONESTLY, the ‘Kerastase Genesis Strengthening Serum for Hair and Scalp’ is AMAZING! I have A LOT of hair damage from professional bleach/dye in my hair, and I WISH I could tell you how much fall-out REDUCED because of this serum! Prior to applying the serum, there was a lot of new/healthy hair thick clumps on my brush after washdays, but now they have minimized! My hair is naturally thin (so no difference in strength/thickness), but I NOTICED the scalp/roots having more volume! There was also new hair growth around the hairline (where I struggled the most). <3 For those super sensitive to changes, it is a bit oily/thicker and heavy in fragrance (but I do not mind). I enjoyed applying the serum after the ‘Kerastase Genesis Strengthening Shampoo for Normal to Oily Hair’ and ‘Genesis Strengthening Conditioner.’ As well, I occasionally used a clarifying shampoo. This combination works the best for maximum effectiveness! 100% WORTH THE HYPE! This has helped reduce hair fall and breakage over time, and my hair feels noticeably stronger. It’s super lightweight, doesn’t make my scalp greasy, and layers well into my routine without buildup. A Great Strengthening Serum!

I’ve been using the Kérastase Genesis Strengthening Serum for the last 6 weeks now, mainly at night, and I’ve really been enjoying it so far. The serum feels very soothing on the scalp and absorbs nicely without leaving a greasy feeling. The scent is definitely strong when you first apply it, but I personally love it—and it doesn’t linger the entire time it’s in your hair, which is a plus. The dropper is slightly large, so I have to be a bit careful when applying, but it’s not a major issue. Overall, my scalp feels healthier, and I’m excited to continue using it in hopes of preventing hair breakage over time.
