A fabulous nail laquer!

I love this polish! I purchased Bleu Majorelle about 2 years ago and it is still a favorite! A lovely brush that is wide enough to ensure polish on nails and not cuticles and last quite q while on the nail. I will be purchasing more!

The best nail polish I've ever used

Goes on evenly, has a really nice brush that ensures that you only get paint on your nails, not the surrounding skin, a huge pet peeve of mine. Gorgeous, rich color is a plus too! Doesn't chip and stays on just as I left it a week-and-a-half later. The price is a doozy, so this is something I'd really recommend if you really want to treat yourself. You won't regret it though.

So Disappointed

I bought this in Rose Romantique. I noticed as soon as I began the first coat that the polish is very thin, and pools out at the edge of your nails onto the nail bed. I was going to do 2 coats but it was still extremely streaky, so I did 3. I finished off with my long-time favorite top coat, Seche Vite. The color dried and my nails still looked very streaky and uneven. After a few days two of my nails had chipped so I repainted them, and I noticed that the newly applied color was far pinker/whiter - the older polish had darkened into a yellowy beige color within just a few days. I'm going to try again without top coat and see if that makes a difference. But really I can't believe the lack of quality for the price. I probably won't be purchasing YSL nail polish again any time soon.

Worth It!!!!

Seriously worth every penny. I bought one and now I can't stop. I've vowed to never wear another nail polish even if it means saving up just to buy these when budget permits. The dry super fast, they're really pigmented such that you can get away with one coat on the darker colors, and they go on like butter. I originally started my high end nail colors with Dior, but Dior pales in comparison. Wish I had discovered YSL first. For me they chip on the nail tips, but it's minimal with proper application (double coat and top coat to minimize even more). Try just one. You won't be disappointed. And you might get addicted. I love bold colors with sophistication. I recommend Gris Deco, Bleu Majorelle, and Vert D'Orient. They're all gorgeous!

I was really disappointed in this one. I got Violine Surrealiste, and it was streaky and thin. Three coats and there were still uneven patches. Plus it took forever to dry and scuffed away when I hit my nail against a wall hours after applying it. I had to take it off the next day. I loved the color but will be sticking to my Guerlain for now, which I've found to be a much much better formula. From the reviews it looks like it works for some people, but it didn't for me.

Bleu Majorelle!!

Not just another Blue, it's the WOW blue! Stunning! I went past my comfort zone with the color and so happy I did!!

Nice color, drying time could use improvement

overall I quite like the color I purchased, Gris Deco. I did find the drying time a little slow. For this price point I expect a perfect formula - although it might be the color I chose.

This nail polish is expensive but it is worth the money. Very long lasting on nails and the brush is so nice and makes the process of doing my nails so much easier. The colors are very nice specially the bleu majorelle. Really cool color and I always get tons of compliments when I wear it :)

Rose Renaissance

This polish is absolutely amazing. It goes on so smooth and is not streaky. The brush is very nice as well. Expensive but totally worth it!

This formula and brush is very similar to Dior's. I love the colors, and the formula is easy to apply evenly and chip resistant. It's kind of expensive though...I justify the purchases because I don't visit nail salons.
