Best face wash

This is the only cleanser I will use. It cleans my face without stripping away my natural oils. I have combo/ sensitive skin and it does not break me out. It’s very gentle around the eye without causing irritation. I love the glass packaging, gives you that high quality feel without the price tag.

One of the best cleansers ever!

This is my favorite cleanser! It foams up really nicely and has a fresh scent. Best of all, it leaves me feeling clean without drying out my skin. Love love love.

The only face wash I’ll use

This is the perfect face wash for my sensitive skin, it always leaves my face feeling clean but not dry. It’s also great for removing makeup.

My make up melted off instantly! Really loved how my skin felt afterward—super clean and clear. Will buy again!

Amazing cleanser 👍

This is an amazing product, it leaves my skin smooth and soft directly after and it is not drying and a little goes a long way. I highly recommend this to people with my skin type.

Noticeably smoother skin

Since using the superfood cleanser my skin is noticeably smoother and firmer. I like the refill pouch for the savings and reduced packaging.

Cleanser is amazing, but pump is not

Love this cleanser and I love the scent! It's nice and thick so a little goes a long way. I appreciate that it is in a glass bottle rather than plastic. My only complaint is that I cannot get the pump to work. I've tried everything I know to do. If anyone has the trick, please let me know.

Unpleasant scent

Excellent product with the exception of the fragrance. It’s unnecessary and extremely strong which made it unpleasant for me. Make an unscented version and I’ll be a repeat customer.

Caused painful trigeminal nerve irritation for me

I'm writing this review in case someone else out there runs into the same issue I did. I'm fairly confident this face wash caused me to have facial nerve pain (something that seemed similar to the condition called trigeminal neuralgia). A few weeks after I started using this, I started getting an occasional strange little zapping sensation on my face, always around my right forehead / upper cheek area, when I was washing my face. I didn't pay much attention to it until one night I had a few seconds of intense, very electrical-feeling pain around the right upper part of my face, including to the right side of my nose and up into the right hairline. I did some googling and it fit the description of trigeminal neuralgia with the pain in the distribution of the right ophthalmic nerve. (Trigeminal neuralgia is most commonly caused by a blood vessel putting pressure on the nerve, with this most common in older people. It can also be caused by multiple sclerosis or a tumour, which is relatively more likely in younger people.) At the time I didn't connect this at all to the facewash, and thought it was being triggered by the mechanics of washing my face. I started being very gentle when washing or doing anything else to my face, but I would still get little zaps and had another two episodes of several seconds of the same intense, electrical pain. It got to the point that I was scared to touch my face or even clean my teeth because that might trigger the pain. The rest is kind of a long story, but to cut it short. Around this time I had several periods of travel, and that led me to realise that the pain was correlated with the face wash. After a couple of weeks of being away from home (and not using this face wash) things would improve, and then after a couple of weeks of being back and using it the symptoms would come back. I don't think this is related to other things in my home environment because I've now been back at home and not using the face wash for a couple of weeks and symptoms have resolved again. I also had an MRI brain scan to check for other causes and it was normal. I was really surprised that a face wash would cause this type of pain, which is why it took me a few months and an MRI to come to work out what was going on. Obviously a lot of people love this face wash (which is great for them!), but I wanted to post this in case someone else experiences the same thing I did and this speeds up the process of working out what's causing their problems.
