Honestly, the BEST makeup purchase I’ve EVER made!

Hear me out: It took me over a year to finally buy this palette because of the price. However, now that I have it, I realize it’s actually quite affordable, especially considering the quality and the versatility of having three products in one. I have light-medium skin, but I tan easily in the summer. For this reason, I chose Volume III because of its versatility. This palette is simply perfect. The middle shade is a fantastic bronzer—it has an almost red undertone that mimics a natural sun-kissed glow. My neutral skin tone pairs beautifully with it, and it’s neither orange nor muddy. It’s just the perfect shade. The highlighter in this palette is the most beautiful I’ve ever used. Most importantly, it doesn’t emphasize texture, and you can build it up to your liking. It can be subtle or give you that full-on WOW factor. As for the shade Eternal Light, I use it in two ways. First, as a blush—it gives a finish very similar to Dior’s Bronzed Glow on my skin. Divine. I also like to use it as a finishing powder with a fluffy brush; it gives me a soft, airbrushed look. Honestly, I swear by it. The formula of this palette is perfect for me because none of the shades emphasize texture, and all three elevate my makeup. People compliment me on my makeup so much now—my friends even say it looks like a professional did it. At the same time, it always looks natural and beautifully highlights my features. It’s also perfect for traveling since it’s such a versatile palette. You don’t need to carry a ton of products, which aligns with my belief in avoiding overconsumption. The current trend of buying excessive amounts of makeup is not only wasteful but also unnecessary. This palette meets so many needs, making it a truly worthwhile investment. I cannot recommend it enough—it’s honestly the best makeup purchase I’ve ever made.

Melts everything together

I use this as my last step and it smooths out all the lines from blush and bronzer. It melts all my makeup so nicely together. It’s definitely a must have for me now.

NOT LIKE OTHER SHADES

These colours are nowhere near as good as the luminous light shade. I have to swipe back and forth with my brush very firmly (I mix all 3 together) and even then basically nothing comes off on my brush. Do I have to “break it in” or scratch off a top layer or something? I never had to do this with luminous light - it was just amazing from the get go. This palette is so expensive too! Not going to bother returning it as I love Hourglass products…but this palette is definitely a huge disappointment.

Subtle & Glowing

Gorgeous “glow from within” - each shade makes your skin look radiant and healthy - and like candle light is hitting your skin. I use them all and I think they’re interchangeable honestly. You can’t go wrong. Expensive (but competitively priced) and worth it. One of my best purchases. Stunning. worth it

Beautiful finishing touch!

Gorgeous palette! I wasn’t sure if I would feel it is worth the price, especially since it seems like the ratings are not very high. This is beautiful and truly different! Just a gorgeous natural glow 

Ethereal Lighting

I rarely write reviews, but had to say that the first time I wore this I happened to be in the midst of an anxious rant and my partner interrupted to say the light was hitting my face in a beautiful way and that my cheekbones looked amazing. It was a grey and moody afternoon, but I felt ethereal. 5 stars would recommend

Vol 2 pallet, I looove this powder but so torn, the first and last shades are AMAZING! Give a lux finish and versatile enough for a quick makeup day that just leaves the face light and radiant, but the middle shade does nothing for me and is almost full while I’m hitting pan on the other 2, it is a nice low key highlight but almost doesn’t seem to be in the same category of quality of the other 2 shades, dryer and almost feels glittery although it’s still a fine ‘glitter’ effect, debating a 2nd pallet just for the light powder bc the color isn’t sold on its own and I love the powder that much, but for the price and not being thrilled for 1/3 of the pallet has me more torn than you can imagine lol

Love

The most beautiful thing. Left one is a nice powder that gives your skin a natural glow, middle one I either use as a subtle highlight or mix with left one to achieve a more radiant look, right one is the most perfect winter bronze.

Worth the price

This is a new must have in my routine. I look dewy but not greasy. It also gives my skin a lovely sun kissed glow that doesn’t look unnatural.

Good product but it just gives you a dark bronze, no shimmer

I had no idea I could look this good! The colors warm up my complexion perfectly and give me just the right amount of contour. It’s a true workhorse — sometimes I just wear this, no foundation. I even use it as eye shadow! when I want a natural look. True workhorse.

Crusty Dusty

I am convinced that people are pretending to like this product. It is a very dry formula, accentuates texture, and is much lighter than the photographs. Not worth your money.
