Angel Eau de Parfum

I prefer the Eau de toilette more then the Parfum. They both end up having similar smells after it dries down and settles into the skin. But the Parfum can be a lot more jarring initially with its spicy top note that lingers longer then expended (about an hour on me). But the smell after is amazing (so I stick to the Eau de toilette). It lasted all day both the Eau de toilette and Eau de Parfum. It had a warm vanilla gourmand smell that reminds me of a younger cousin of YSL black opium. I absolutely love black opium so this would definitely be perfect for anyone who also loves black opium. But I would definitely try this one first before buying because that initial smell is where it had gotten to me. I tried it a few more times and realized the dried down smell was amazing.

Sweet ,Strong ,Long last thing & headache

I did not enjoy this scent at all. I think it’s just my nose/me. Way tooo sweet for me . Gave me a headache. I think the patchouli kicked my a$$

Save your money

This is absolutely terrible. I am so mad that I listened to someone else's review. This smells like gasoline and burnt rubber. I have tried to layer it, give it a 2nd and 3rd chance and I can not get behind this.

Using for years

Husband bought this for me when it first came out….many many years ago 😂but always get compliments on how it smells on me…so it’s definitely my sent & also love that it is refillable

I have been using Angel for more than 20 years. It works differently for everyone. I get compliments constantly with it on.

Launched in 1992, Angel has always been a divisive fragrance. The words 'blind purchase' and 'Angel' do not belong in the same sentence! I first discovered this in the late 90's after smelling 'A Men' - the men's version of this fragrance on a work colleague. It wasn't remotely like anything I'd smelt before. Fast forward to that very same weekend, I was at the nearest store to try the tester for 'Angel', the female version of that scent. One spritz, a short walk around the store and I was ready to purchase the bottle. Have been wearing this on and off ever since. At its heart it's not overly dissimilar to the men's version, the Patchouli is still the predominant note, in fact the initial blast is pure Patchouli to my nose with an undercurrent of chocolate. After a few minutes I get fruit and musk, and finally the dry down...Patchouli mixed in with caramel, vanilla and tonka. The musk in here smells similar to the musk that used to appear in older fragrances from the 80's which you don't find any longer. Overall Angel is a very distinctive fragrance that is never once run of the mill or generic, even all these years later. By the same token that also makes it instantly recognizable. If you wear this, most people will know exactly what you're wearing. Silage and longevity are both good. Horrendous

This is absolutely horrendous. I know that sounds dramatic. Lol but I assure you… This is truly horrendous. The bottle is very misleading, it looks feminine and pretty and intriguing and then what comes out of. It is quite the opposite. It smells like old fashion, cherry pipe tobacco. If you think I’m making it up, go find an old man who smokes a pipe take away with his pipe and then take a width of this and you won’t tell the difference. It is truly disgusting.

Men will ravage you

This has and always will be my go to scent for a night out or date with my husband. I’ve been wearing Angel since 1998 and I will not ever stop. Men LOVE this scent. I layer this with another scent and it is unique to me! My husband goes wild when i wear it!! pheromoaandalway

Very interesting shape of the bottle. I received this as a gift for an honest review. It has this woodsy smell that I am not used to but it definitely grew on me. It lasts all day long which is a major plus! I recommend it to my friends.

It Girl Scent (if you like patchouli)

love love love!!! been looking for a signature scent for awhile now and this has the perfect mix of patchouli and florals! I think the floral notes really come out on the skin after wearing for a minute, it’s perfecto !

I barfed

I didn’t actually, but I recoiled in disgust. When I sprayed this on paper, it was lovely. When I sprayed it on my skin, it was this disgustingly intense overpowering musky pepper scent. I used 10 tissues to wipe this off. Probably the worst perfume I’ve ever smelt and I will never put my nose near it again.
