Balmy Gloss Tinted Lip Oil

I love it!

Gives a natural color to my lips, easy to clean off, and doesn’t leave it insanely dry. But it is a little bit expensive.

Perfect every day color and feels nice on the lips!! It goes on smooth and has a nice consistency, not super in your face or heavy looking. It’s just a nice little tint that brightens you. The packaging definitely leaks though unfortunately

Terrible Packaging - will leak!!

While I love this product, the packaging is terrible! I thought maybe I had a bad bottle, so I ended up buying a second in another color. However, it is in fact faulty packaging. Cannot be stored in a purse or coat or back pocket because it leaks!!! I was even very diligent about tightly twisting the cap, but it does not matter! What a shame because I do love the product inside the bottle. I will rebuy if they change the packaging.

Love the color!! The formula…not so much. I hate the way this dries down on the lips. It feels like a liquid lipstick after a couple applications.

Color, Shine and Moisture!

This is my second shade purchase and I love this product. They are sheer but beautiful while leaving my lips feeling super moist. They are also the perfect level of shine. Love it!

Terrible packaging

I generally love Ilia's products and packaging but this lip oil is packaged terribly in a leaky container that is messy after every use. This is not a product that I recommend you put in your pocket or your bag, unless you want to wear it on everything.

Exactly what I have been searching for

I have been on the hunt for a truly thin lip oil with lots of slip. I cannot stand sticky, and a lot of oils don’t have the level of slip I like. I hate the sticky feeling of gloss so much that I don’t care if I have to reapply every half hour. I just want it to feel thin and slippery like a true oil. This feels like an oil based balm, it’s so comfortable on the lips and so moisturizing! It’s very thin and has a lot of slip. It lasts pretty well too. One thing is that it’s not very shiny. There is some sheen but it’s not at the level of a gloss. If this is something you want, I’d go for another product. Only You is a gorgeous light pinky nude. I will be buying more colours and hopefully they release more! I’d love to see some shimmers ✨

Got this for my friend's birthday and oh. my. god. It's heavenly, though a bit expensive for the quantity, but worth it! It feels velvety and light instead of oily and has both a gorgeous color after application and even better looking tint, which lasts forever.

Love most Ilia products but not a fan of this one.

Love Ilia; I use their lip pencil, foundation serum, mascara, blush and more. I was excited to try this because I usually like most lip oils. This one was ok, the color was flattering but it just sat on top of my lips and didn’t moisturize my lips at all. Because it just sat on the surface and didn’t absorb like other lip oils it came off easily. I’m bummed because I live Ilia products so I returned it for another brand of lip oil I’ve used in the past.

Love the color and finish but the tint quickly wears off after a couple of hours.
