N°4 Bond Maintenance™ - Shampoo

A must-have for damaged, brittle hair!

My hair was falling out and so brittle before using this product. Within weeks of incorporating this product into my hair care routine, I have noticed less breakage, more volume and overall healthier hair. My hair and scalp feel clean but not stripped after shampooing with this product.

Not for all hair types!

This product started to break and damage my hair. I did a lot of research after noticing Mt hair coming out in chucks.. it turns out this product is not for every hair type that's why so many people have amazing results and others not so lucky. I will explain my hair so maybe anyone who has similar hair should be cautious: I have a lot of hair but it is very fine, it gets greasy quick and splits easily. Olaplex really needs to look into which hair types shouldn't use this product.

It is ok ok but not that good

After using this, my scalp gets oily after two days and it doesn’t help with white flakes on the scalp. However it gives a smooth hair for two days.

NOT for blond highlighted hair - major damage

I used the shampoo, conditioner and #3 for the past 7 months on an occasional basis as per instructions and the products have completely dried out and damaged my hair. They also caused a massive keratin build up and had to go to the hair dresser to fix my hair. Do not use this product if you have fine, blond highlight hair. It will ruin your hair.

Breakage and hair loss after using for <1 month

Unfortunately after using this product for a few weeks my hair suddenly started breaking and falling out. I have always had extremely strong and thick hair, and now I have extremely weak and brittle hair since I started using this product.

If I could, I would leave a negative star review.

After 8 months of using Olexplex shampoo & conditioner, my hair became extremely fine & brittle and began to fall out in clumps. I genuinely thought I had a problem with my hormones until I switched to a different brand.

after using this shampoo it made my hair feel great but my hair seems to be falling out and noticed a bald spot. is it a coincidence or is it the shampoo

This is one of the best shampoos I’ve used in a long time! I have 4C curly hair and it works like a charm to hydrate and refresh my hair as well as repair my heat damage. It also smells really good and has a soft, silky texture.

After using this shampoo, my hair felt so smooth, and I felt a noticeable difference. I think I used too much at first, so a little goes a long way. Love the packaging and honestly really good for super long thick hair
