Sol, Please Update the Packaging

Great cream but nearly impossible to get to it without a removable lid. Sol de Janeiro needs to update the packaging asap.

Got this because I like the Bum Bum cream but I find the smell overpowering and I really like it. It’s super rich and hydrating. It penetrate the skin well and fast which is key for a body moisturizer because there’s nothing worst than trying to put jeans on with sticky legs IMO.

Amazing hydration, could stand a bottle redesign.

Best applied when you're still damp, the thick cream absorbs quickly and hydrates fairly well in dry Wyoming winters. My dry, scaly elbows are in much better shape with this product than most others, and the low scent allows you to wear a perfume of your choice. The packaging is tricky - the bottle is completely sealed - BUT the pump is flat and closes easily to stand upside down, so you get every last bit of product.

I honestly love this stuff! Its the only lotion that ive found actually absorbed into my skin! The bottle is super cute too, however as adorable as the bottle is it traps alot of product and is hard to get out, but that’s really the only flaw

I received this as a gift from a friend. I like that it’s unscented as the original and all it’s friends give me a headache. It’s a thinner consistency then the original, so I would classify this as a lotion rather then a cream.

Wanted to try this because I got the OG Bum Bum cream in an Ipsy box. I loved it & it kept me soft & moisturized for DAYS. I wanted unscented though since I didn’t want to smell like coconut all the time. Not sure why but this didn’t work quite as well as the OG. It works fine, but at the price point I will not be buying again. I can get a decent one from the drugstore that does about the same job as this for 1/4 of the price.

Same creamy body lotion as the scented ones. Goes on so smoothly. I use this when I want to use a different fragrance . Absolutely love it ❤️

great for loose skin, and dry skin

Such an amazing product! No silicone, super moisturizing, I’m on accutane and have lost over 60 pounds so loose skin and dry skin and this firmed and moisturized beautifully. I love it!! Also I find some SDJ fragrances a lot so to have this as an option is amazing

very moisturizing

this has great ingredients and moisturizers that stay on your skin should be fragrance free. the packaging is beautiful and the pump screws off so you can refill it with the tube! love it

I don’t normally write reviews but this product is extremely subpar. The consistency is more watery than I would expect from a cream and the packaging makes it difficult to get the most out of the product as the gold part doesn’t twist open. And then on top of that, this product consistently leaves a white cast on my legs after use, so I would not say it is brown/darker skin friendly.

Love the body cream - dislike the packaging!

Dear Sol de Janeiro, PLEASE redesign the jar! The body cream is moisturizing without being too oily and the unscented feature is nice for low key days. The packaging design is poor; it is nearly impossible to get all of the cream out of the jar. 2/3 of the way down I pulled the pump out and shook the cream out into my free hand. A little bit further down I had to stick my finger in the top of the jar to scoop any cream from the neck of the jar. ~15% of the lotion went unused and was discarded.
