Perfect for lower lash line eyeshadow

Use this anytime I’m putting on eyeshadow for underneath my lower lash line. The brush is so little, perfect size to accentuate that area without going full-raccoon. Bristles are super soft too on the delicate skin. And of course the brush itself is so luxurious the metal is beautiful and worth the money

I used to use drug store makeup brushes. I never understood why anyone would buy expensive brushes because a brush is a brush and they’re all going to do the same thing. Eventually the curiosity got the best of me and I splurged on one Hourglass brush. As soon as I tried it I immediately knew where that extra money went. The quality of these brushes is incredible. Soft bristles, extremely well made. Very easy to blend. I ended up buying all the Hourglass brushes to complete the set. Now I won’t use anything else.

Great smudger

Great little brush which I use with my UD eyeliner. I also use this for lining the bottom lash with shadow for precise application. Bristles have stayed in place through cleanings. I've had it for about a year.

Sephora erased my review.... I don't feel like typing it out again... But stay away from this. The only good thing about this brush is the weight to it. It scratches and really doesn't "smudge" anything. At least not for me.

Love this for under eye....

I've bought about 5 eyeliner pencils that just plain never worked. This is the perfect brush to get a smooth application of cream eyeliner... The liner goes on smooth all the way under the eye instead of leaving a harsh line at the beginning and making the liner line crack and messy like the other liner brushes that I've purchased. Plus, it cleans easily between each use and is very gentle on the eyes. This is a brush that I would repurchase over and over again due to the ease of use.

A cotton bud performs better than this brush. The bristles felt uncomfortable and the base of the brush awkwardly scraped my pressed pigments with every swipe. This is called a "Smudge Brush" but it's more like a poorly cut eyeliner brush. Try Hourglass's #9 Domed Shaped Brush for the perfect smudge.

Super soft

This is my first Hourglass brush purchase, but I wil be back for more. I use eye shadow to softly line my eyes most days since I go for a more natural look, and this is the perfect tool for the job.

I have used nars, tarte, sonia kushak, elf, benefit, sephora, and bobbi b., and have all of them in my kit. This is the best one by fair, so dependable no matter how tired or rushed I feel in the morning. I want to get two more in case Hourglass ever loses its mind and discontinues this brush. An excellent investment. You can buy all the fancy makeup kn the world, but if you can't apply it well, it's not going to look flattering. Happy with this.

Another great Hourglass brush

I do not use this for pencil or gel liner. I have taken an off label approach to using it to smudge my eyebrow pencils and apply shadow in those hard to reach ares on the lower eyelid and corners of my eyes. It is soft without any bristly feeling around the delicate eye. It has retained its shape and never shed a single hair with more than a year of daily use.
