I had high hopes for this

Really disappointed with this product. I’ve tried to apply it with primer, with a sponge, with fingers, setting with powder but I always get the same finish. It settles into every pore and line. It slides around and looks patchy. Waste of money. Stick to the spf with a tinted foundation on top

Had high hopes and liked the concept that it would give colour/coverage whilst being an SPF. However, due to the volume that is needed to apply, it went on very heavy and has broken my skin out on cystic acne.

Shade 9 Tinted Veil spf50

Absolutely love this, I have dry sensitive skin and was looking for a new tinted spf since Nars discontinued my summer shade. The shade is perfect for my tanned skin ( shade reference Nars Tahoe/Cuba/Malaga) This tint is a lightweight fluid and gives a lovely soft glow and has a light/medium coverage. It feels gorgeous and soft on my skin, my new go to. Definitely worth trying the sample to get a good shade match. Thank you ultra viollette for creating such a beautiful product ✨️

Not great

Very thick and gooey felt like I had something really thick on my face.

Ultra Violette products never disappoint and this one is no different! It’s so amazing, leaving my skin feeling nourished, soft and healthy looking, like I’ve been covered in a veil of sunshine, it’s just gorgeous. Buy this, you will not be disappointed

Not for me

Loved the everything about this until after four days I broke out in hives all over my face. I stopped using it for a few days to let my skin recover and tried it again hoping it wasn’t the cause of the breakout, but sadly the same thing happened again.

Lovely summer product

Great product, love that it has a bit of coverage but not too much. Also nice & glowy Hate the bottle. It dispenses far too much product and is wasteful. Please change the packaging!

Great product but unfortunately I’m allergic to it

I’m a massive fan of lean screen and was so excited about the tinted veil. However after a few uses I realised I was allergic… I’m so upset because it looks so good but after a minute my face goes red and I want to scratch it !!! Boo hooo so disappointed

Nothing short of perfection

More than a year ago I received sample sachets of Daydream and stupidly applied it on my bare face with my fingers, having totally missed the point that it's not a stand alone spf: it's makeup with spf. (Didn't look great!) Fast forward a couple of years and I have an actinic keratosis and doubling down and layering up I started to look in earnest for a tinted moisturiser with spf to layer over my regular sunscreen. I've bought a couple which are very good but not great for my skin and when I found the V2 Daydream sachet at the bottom of my makeup basket decided to use it with a brush, like a foundation. What a surprise. It's even better than my 2 favourite bases. Doesn't settle into lines and pores and has a very unusual finish; very natural and sheer, while providing more cover than my other favourite bases, but is long wearing. I can touch up areas if necessary without build-up and even though it has a natural glow it doesn't make pores look big or oily. All in all I was very pleasantly surprised and immediately bought a full bottle.

Perfect

I‚ve had around 57 years of wearing makeup (I started young). I have cared for my skin despite living in the Middle East for 15 years. I have used SPF makeups for years, most recently my favourite was IT cosmetics tinted SPF protector (which is excellent). However, I am mixed ethnicities with a pale skin and I‚ve never found just the right shade to match my natural skin colour. Never! Not until now that is. The products easy to apply, I use a flat-top foundation brush, blending is easy. I am a very, very happy dinosaur (well I often feel like that these days!). I love the idea of the samples it‚ very well worth trying several different ones as our screen resolutions all differ. Very highly recommended.

Firm Favourite

Absolutely LOVE this, when first applying the coverage is very light but the way it dries down is just brilliant and somehow the coverage increases and the finish is just gorgeous. I‚m a big skincare and make up fan and have tried so many similar products and this is a clear front runner. Obsessed.
