This shampoo and conditioner is so creamy and lush! They both leave my 3c/4a coils soft, shiny, bouncy and tangle free! It even still feels hydrated when I straighten it. Great ingredients for your scalp, silicone free and smells fruity but not like a twelve year-old’s body splash. Totally worth the price, I’m forever obsessed!

The only shampoo I'll use

Best shampoo money can buy! I love the natural and quality ingredients and it smells amazing without being overpowering. I use this with the conditioner year round every day and it keeps my hair super healthy, soft, and shiny. Also balances my scalp.

Hair loss and scalp problems

Product was expired. I tried it regardless and I’ve never had any problems with my scalp or excessive hair loss, but after using this shampoo I am losing a lot of hair everyday and suddenly noticed scabs on my scalp.

Good for dry, thin strands yet thick hair

I am into this. I used to use Deva Curl until I heard about customer hair experiences of fall out! This Rahua makes my roots feel unusually soft and clean

found my holy grail

This is a great shampoo— the best. It doesn’t have that traditional lather, because it doesn’t contain sulfates— which the lack of major suds seems to be why this has so many negative reviews. Regardless, it CLEANS and in a gentle way that doesn’t irritate my scalp. This is the only shampoo and conditioner that I know I can depend on time after time. My hair is fine, very oily at the scalp and dry at the ends, and I tend to get sores if I’m not careful about what shampoo I use. This shampoo perfectly balances my hair and keeps my scalp healthy and happy. I would also note, I began using this line with virgin hair, now my hair is very blonde and this product still keeps up! Can’t recommend it enough

didn’t work for my hair

I was excited to try Hydration shampoo and conditioner and was disappointed. My hair type is fine and tends to become dry on the ends and oily scalp. After blow drying hair felt dull and not very hydrated. Wouldn’t get it again.

It’s meh. I have annoying hair where it’s fine, I have a lot of it, oily scalp, and dry ends so it’s hard to find something that works well. I had high hopes. This didn’t do anything. Felt like my hair got more and more brittle actually.

The formula seemed like there were chunks in it. Despite it being a hydration shampoo it really dried and left my hair so tangled and rough. I would never buy this again.

Wouldn’t recommend...

Smells like a strawberry banana smoothie that’s gone a bit sour. Takes a decent amount to get a good lather. Didn’t get through more than a few uses before purchasing a different shampoo. Wouldn’t buy again or recommend.

Because of the price and organic ingredients, I was expecting a better product. I specifically bought the hydrating shampoo because the reviews said that this lathered the most. It is very hard to get the right consistency of sudds for my thin hair. For me, a little shampoo does not go a long way, and it’s expensive, so I found that very disappointing. its definitely not worth the money.

Product had gone bad

I can't speak to the effectiveness of the product, as I didn't use it. I squeezed some into my hand and could immediately tell it had separated and was chunky, it also smelled like lotion or oil that had gone rancid. So far, this is the first time Sephora has sent out a product to me that had gone bad. So unfortunately I did not get to try out the product like I had hoped.

Gentle yet effective! Won’t strip hair...

I love this shampoo, it’s so gentle on my hair, yet effective. It doesn’t strip hair or color. But it does a good job cleansing hair and scalp. Per ounce it’s actually very inexpensive compared to other comparable brands. I will always keep this shampoo on hand.
