Beautiful texture

I bought this on line and was unsure about which shade to choose but the one I have chosen is perfect. Light but with perfect coverage. Very pleased.

Good but not as good

Bought as the recommended substitute for Lingerie de Peau which has been discontinued :( so I'm writing this review mainly for other Guerlain customers in the same boat. It's not a bad colour match and I'm fine with it, but by comparison it's stickier, slightly more difficult to apply, and doesn't smell quite as nice. Please bring back our Lingerie!

Foundation make up

This is the best foundation ever. Great coverage with a natural finish. This is my second bottle and will definitely buy it again.

Best foundation for my skin. My aging dry skin - add a dab of this foundation and I literally glow with full coverage as well. A little goes a long way just prep and prime before application. Use a setting spray after.

Great foundation with a terrible scent

This is a medium coverage foundation with a beautiful natural finish, but the SMELL! It smells like cheap deodorant and doesn’t fade, so it’s like walking around with your nose is someone’s armpit the entire day. Such a shame because the coverage and finish are great.

I received a sample of this foundation and it is easily the most beautiful foundation I’ve ever put on my face. It’s has a satin finish and it has beautiful coverage. So so good!

so I do really love this! I find it applies best with a brush and it’s a great long wear foundation, barely any transfer at all! my only thing is that I find it doesn’t blend well with my other products but that’s possibly my own fault for not pairing products well.

My Holygrail

This is my holy grail product, I think I’m on my 3rd bottle. I’ve been using it for 2 years. It provides a medium coverage and looks great when you apply with a beauty blender. I have very dry skin so I do need to moisturize before using it and I start with one pump before building up on spots. It does oxidize though and now I need a shade lighter because of how orange it can get. A bottle lasts me 6 -8 months (I wear make up like 3 - 4 days a week). If you have dry skin I’d suggest trying it. Yes, it has a strong perfume but it dissipates in a few minutes. If you have oily skin or sensitive skin, avoid.

Almost, but not quite

02N will be good for summer maybe but is dark for my winter skin tone. It’s also quite perfumey, which I don’t love but can tolerate. I like that a little bit goes a long way, true medium coverage and the packaging is nice. I tried this after my previous foundation was discontinued, I think I will try another that is less scented.

breaks me out

I really wanted to love this but it’s just not working out. I bought this not as a daily foundation but for going out on weekends where I would do heavier makeup and want more coverage. First of all the packaging, although beautiful, is flimsy and the pump rotates as you try to use it which causes a mess. That’s a minor issue but enough to irritate me for this being a luxury brand. I have oily/combo skin and even I find the formula a bit thick and cakey. I’m used to using full coverage foundations but this formula is not the best in terms of application and how it looks on the skin. My biggest issue with it is that it is so pore clogging that I break our badly after every use. I have a pretty solid skin care routine and barely have any acne or blemishes because of it. This foundation undoes all of the work I put into my skin whenever I use it.

Lovely product

Easy to apply. Fantastic colour match. It makes my skin look great and makes me feel great too.
