Maui In a Bottle Sweet Banana 37 - Eau de Parfum

I honestly was looking for this to smell more like banana, coconut and jasmine considering these are key notes...but the vanilla is overpowering which is a shame unless you really love vanilla perfumes. It's a decent scent, just not the scent for me.

Not a banana scent

I love sweet smelling perfumes, and I bought this so excited to have an overwhelming banana scent. I cannot wait to open it, and I will have to say I was disappointed. it is not very sweet. I do not smell anything banana like. It is not a bad scent. It’s just not a banana scent. For the price point, I would definitely not recommend this. Fortunately you could find a sweet banana scent and a cheaper mist elsewhere.

Love this one! the banana is light but sweet and not green like in marc jacobs daisy wild. It smells really good like a banana sunscreen!!!!!

it's a no for me

This perfume definitely does not smell like bananas. I usually don't purchase perfume unless I try it in the store but I was to excited..... I couldn't wait. I ordered it. What a disappointment.

Ugh I don't like it

I was expecting a creamy delicious banana smell but this ain't it. There's a sharpness and soapiness to the scent that I don't like. It's not a hideous smell but not something I want to keep. Kayali keeps churning out products too fast at the cost of actually delivering good products. I've only liked one of their scents. The promise of a banana scent let me get duped into buying this.

Underwhelming, not what it promises! Hyped.

This is my review on 10 Sep 2024. It's going to be negative. This perfume is not sweet, not tropical, not fruity, & certainly not banana-like-smelling to my nose. And I've sprayed it at least on 2 different days. This one to me is underwhelming, so I will not venture further with this new collection. written onSep2024.

So sweet

The one thing that i love about it is that it does smell very tropical and fruity. The notes of sweet banana and coconut cream are very strong and it makes it a perfect perfume for the summertime. The one thing that I would like is it would be more long lasting since I have to reapply often but I love the unique scent it has.

Exactly as Described

I received a sample of the Maui in a Bottle Sweet Banana fragrance from Kayali in exchange for my review. I was so intrigued to smell a fragrance with a prominent banana note! As a gourmand lover the key notes of coconut cream, sweet banana and jasmine really appealed to me. All I can say is how bummed I am that this doesn’t come in full size, because I’m going to savor this mini! This is such a decadent fragrance. It does toe the line of cloyingly sweet, so if that’s not your thing I would avoid. If you want to smell like eating flambéed bananas topped with whipped cream on a tropical island, buy this. It smells exactly as advertised and the banana note is actually noticeable. Despite it being quite sweet it settles on my skin in a very wearable way, with the florals becoming more prominent with time. In my opinion, an amazing summer and vacation scent.

Smells amazing!

I have to say the Kayali Sweet Banana has definitely impressed me. The scent is fabulous, and I love how gorgeous and elegant the bottle is! I have worn this every day since I received it and have received many compliments on it as well. It doesn't really smell like bananas though, the smell is strong but not overwhelming and a little goes a long way since you only need a spray or two of it and it lasts for hours. I definitely recommend this one!!

Refreshing and summer vibes

I recently had the chance to try KAYALI Sweet Banana Perfume, and it has quickly become my favorite fragrance. The scent is like a tropical escape—full of summer vibes, sweet, and incredibly refreshing. I never thought a fragrance with such a delicious note could feel so sophisticated, but this perfume achieves that perfectly. What impresses me most is its longevity; even after hours of wear, it lingers beautifully without being overpowering or cloying.

Light and Sweet

The KAYALI Maui in a Bottle Sweet Banana is fruity and sweet in its presentation. The Sweet banana and Coconut Cream really shine in this perfume. It makes for a fresh and relaxing experience on the skin. My body took to this easily without any oils or scented lotions to compliment it. It has great longevity, several hours and more on me. And it doesn’t conflict if the add another fragrance from the same collection. The Capri in a Bottle Lemon really made this more sweet and bold. Which by itself it’s not. It’s a refreshing light scent. Not much projection in my opinion. But I didn’t apply this to all of my pulse points.

This is a fruity and fresh fragrance that combines perfectly notes of sandalwood, creating a nice scent suitable for everyday during the spring or summer, also for those evening dates. It has a nice longevity; the bottle is so pretty.
