I love how hydrating it feels when you first put it on. it makes my dry skin turn dull to youthful glow skin It blends in well and sits beautifully underneath makeup. It does have a slight fragrance but not to overpowering.

I used to love this product & used it all the time. Until I really looked at the all of the ingredients. There’s “Yellow & “Red 4” dye in it & lots of other questionable stuff for a daily facial moisturizer ): I switched to Aveeno Calm + Restore Oat Gel Moisturizer. It’s better and way cheaper too.

After using this for a week, I couldn’t be happier with the results and how much my dry skin is loving it! Reminds me of Dr. Renauds emulsion. I would highly recommend this one if you have dry aging skin!

The best moisturizer… IF you’re using it right

Amazing product… IN THE RIGHT CIRCUMSTANCES. If you’re using this (or the other moisture surge products) in dry climates, spritz your face with water before and after applying! I used this all the time when I lived on the humid east coast and looooooved it. I stopped using it for a while. Then I was visiting my mother in the very dry high desert, and my moisturizer wasn’t cutting it. So I borrowed some. My skin dried out *almost instantly,* it was insane. So I looked at the ingredients list, and sure enough: it has TONS of hyaluronic acid, both molecular weights. For those who don’t know HA works by attracting and binding water. High weight HA draws water to the surface of the skin, which makes it plumping/firming. Lower weight penetrates more deeply and draws water to lower levels, more deeply hydrating. If you apply it before other water-soluble ingredients, it will draw them to your skin, too. But where does it draw that water from? The air. And in the high desert with 2% humidity and no water in the air… instead it drew water from my skin! I’ll say, I’ve used this in moderately dry climates before with no issues — climates where regular HA serum dried me out quick as a whip. I think all of the other things — the glycerin, the aloe ferment, provide enough water to mitigate any drying effects…. Up to a point. But in mountain desert air, it isn’t enough. With this in mind, I applied it in a humid room after a shower. It was awesome, my face was hydrated all day against the desert air. That night, I spritzed my face with water before and after applying, and it was great. The next day, after washing my face, I tried it with the TJs rosewater mist before and after applying. Even more awesome! So — yeah. Amazing moisturizer in humid-moderate climates. But it needs a little boost in ultra-dry areas.
