Excellent blend of Oud.

Having looked at some other reviews , some were on You Tube. There was a complaint about not long lasting. It does last, it's just not knock you out kinda scent , it's suddle , and smells very masculine. My way of trying new scents to see if I am going to keep them is to shower at night in a completely non-scented body wash so not to taint the scent I am trying , put some on after drying just like I was going out for the evening , if I can smell it during the night after I forget about it and still smell it in the morning then I know it is working. When you become nose blind to it and others can smell it , it's doing what it was designed to do. This one does. Love it.

Husband wears daily

I purchased this cologne for my husband, in a splurge mood. My husband has a few other Versace cologne's. This one is his favorite so far. The cologne has a musk, yet sweet masculine tone. I quite enjoy burying my face in my husbands sweater.

Oud may seem like some new thing that perfume houses are pushing on us, but in reality, oud has been used in fragrances, incense as well as medicinally for thousands of years. It is only new to us here in the Western world. Versace Pour Homme Oud Noir is a Mukhallat style oud Eau de Parfum fragrance. Mukhallat means it is oud that is mixed with other essential oils rather than just straight oud oil. Oud Noir is a wonderful smelling fragrance with a dark, warm and cozy vibe. The supporting notes work very well with the more predominant oud note. This being a Eau de Parfum, it would be easy to over-do it. Sillage seems be a little further than arms-length with one spray. I get about 6 - 8 hours of longevity on my skin. To be honest, House Versace is hit or miss with me - mostly miss, and I had serious doubts about Oud Noir before I had even tried it. I'm really glad I did. Versace did a great job with this fragrance. I would recommend Oud Noir. 5/5
