Pretty Grunge - Eyeshadow Palette

I don't get it.

All the colors are sooooooo light. The black isn't black, and it's not opaque. The one silver shimmer is good, but the other shades just aren't giving anything. Also, the balm-y glitter just turned into dust and shriveled up in the pan.

Pigment not it

It’s pretty. But the pigment is nothing like the Patrick Ta so I had to return. Felt like I had to pack on to get the pay off I was using with PTMM

Surprisingly wearable silvers

While maybe not the most versatile palette, I'm glad I got my hands on it. Usually spangly silver shades are too cool and blue for me to wear since I hate a frosty look, and the silvers in this palette all have some slightly different tint that pulls them away from pure blue-silver. Cant really speak for that glossy black shade but it might be good for a very grungy look since it looks like it doesn't really set down by itself. Kind of same-y, so if you don't like gothy and not fully cool-toned looks then it's probably not for you.

Beautiful

This palette is crazy beautiful. Pictures don't do justice to the pink and light shades. They're absolutely gorgeous. Many looks can be made with this variety, definitely more than just a grundgey smokey eye. I was a little worried it would get messed up in shipping or have the scuzz problems other people have talked about, but it came in perfect condition. I'm giving my sister all of my eyeshadow palettes and sticking with this one 🖤

COOL TONED PALETTE!!! YESSSS

Finally, a cool toned palette!! If you want something that isn't warm, that is a good steal for your money, all the shades in here are STUNNING!!!! This palette has the most beautiful shimmers (Patrick Ta who?). Seriously, this is an amazing deal. Once I hit pan, i would buy this again. Sooooo nice and so happy with this palette...

Stunning colors, mattes are long wearing

The colors are stunning. The mattes are long wearing and ready to blend. I put a shimmer on with my finger, but that didn't last long through the day.

Don't let "grunge" scare you!

Don't let the dark colors scare you away, this is a versatile palette and worth the buy. I am probably intermediate level when it comes to eye makeup skills, and I have gotten several office work appropriate looks out of, in addition to night time looks. Quality is great, as is the case with most Huda shadows. Minimal fall out. I am Fenty 420 and I found that most of the colors can be used in a complimentary way on me, so it is brown girl friendly.

Cream eyeshadow shade issue

Colors look beautiful but not risking using this. The cream shade Grunge appears to have a type of mold on it.

It's a NO

The colors are what I wanted in a color story, but the formula just wasn't it at ALL. it was super patchy and hard to blend. the only good pigmented shadow was Maverick. other than that, everything had so much fallout and lack of smoothness. and the final black creamy shade was disgusting. it felt like greasy halloween paint and creased like crazy. Returned and exchanged for a different competitor palette with much better formulas.

Pass

I was very excited about this product's colors and color names. However, I would not purchase Huda eyeshadow again. Naked pallettes are the way to go for me. Huda does NOT last...it creases right away and looks awful by the end of the day. It was a very disappointing purchase. For the price it should be of higher quality. Do not recommend.

I will figure this puzzle out someday.

I have no idea what on earth to do with half of the colors in the pallette! therefore it's just sitting around in my vanity, barely touched because I refuse to let it break me! it cost too much to ignore and I can't send it back because I have a weird fascination for it.

My go-to staple now

The colors are unique and glide on well. It's my go to palette. Some of the metallic don't work for my skin tone but love the other colors. Colors are as expected too.
