Terrible packaging

Product is okay but the packaging is super cheap. The lid broke just from being in my make up bag - yes I have it fairly full but it’s by no means crammed with other products. Just an annoyingly cheap plastic lid.

Good for moat days

Makes a great base and my shadow doesn't fade as fast. After about 8 hours, fine lines do appear though.

Application not as simple.

I love this eyeshadow primer, but not loving the new applicator.

If it ain’t broke don’t fix it!

Please go back to the old formula/packaging! So disappointed to see this change.

Talk about price gouging

This used to be my holy Grail product for eye shadow creasing. I have oily eyelids, and this works, and is the only thing that works for me. But now that they’ve changed the packaging I hate it. Talk about price gouging they’ve upped the price and put no product in this new container. The old container would last me 2 years+. This new one I’ve barely had it six months. I can’t get anything out of it. Time to look for a new product unless they change it back or add the correct amount of product to the bottle. The ounces wouldn’t reflect the length of time and usage. It's to bad :( I do recommend this product, but not the new container for this price. I’m sure there’s a dupe out there now!

Disappointed

I'm so sad to see this product has changed. I am running out after 4 years - It goes on and dries perfectly. My shadows don't budge, it had no scent, and has lasted forever. Unless it is changed back, it looks like I will be searching elsewhere.

Go back to old packaging

I absolutely love this product. I’ve been using it since i was 16 (now 23). it used to come in a tube which allowed to use of all the product. The new packaging is not only more harsh for the environment as it’s solid plastic but also doesn’t allow for total use of the product. Too faced should really consider switching back to the old packaging as I’m on the hunt for a new primer and it seems a lot of others are disappointed in this change as well.

Will not buy again!

I used to love this product, but the new design has changed my mind. The new pacakaging is terrible. There is very little product inside and it's very hard to get out. Very disappointed

Awful awful awful

They absolutely ruined this product. For years and years shadow insurance was my favourite eye primer of all time but this redo is just not it. It is thicker and sort of patchy to apply, I love how the old one was so thin and rubbed in like a thin cream. The new formulation added scent as well, which I guess is on brand for too faced but totally unnecessary, I do not need coconut scented eyelids please and thank you. And the new packaging is inferior, the hard cylinder makes it so that you can’t get out all of your product like you could with the previous squeeze tube, but it also has a doe foot applicator which is so unsanitary and bad for applying an even layer of product. This reformulation paired with the discontinuation of the glitter glue has cemented the end of my love for too faced. The brand is dead to me now

From Holy Grail to Holy Fail!

This used to be my holy grail product, and I am very disappointed by the recent changes made to this product. There is now less product per unit, and the new doe foot applicator style package creates a lot more product waste. You used to be able to get all product out of the container which is not possible in the new package style. I also suspect that the product formula has changed as it now has a perfumed smell and does not provide the same level of 'insurance' that it used to.

Amazing product!!!

I used to use this back when the packaging was a tube. Absolutely amazing product. I would go to raves and party all night without my eyeshadow wiping off. I lived in a very hot, humid climate area and my eyeshadow and eyeliner would stay in place. I haven't tried the new packaging as yet so I will amend my review if I find a difference but for me this beats any eyeshadow primer on the market.

Packaging Horrible

This was my favorite eye primer. However, since changing the packaging, there is barely any product inside, and what is in there is so difficult to get out. Fantastic example of greed. Change the packaging so they can put less product in and still charge the same. Customer satisfaction is definitely not the priority. Unfortunately unless the old packaging returns, I will not purchasing this anymore.
