Best foundation

This foundation goes on very matte and smooth. I've been wearing it for over a year and a half now. It's not thick or heavy. And it lasts all day.

This has no coverage and is very dry looking when applied does not set well. Very disappointed

Beautiful Foundation

I wear Marquises & decided to give Macao a try...it was too light for my skin tone but paired perfectly with Seafront powder, however I still looked a little ashy until after a few hours of wear. Id definitely recommend this foundation.

Worst Foundation Ever

This foundation goes on feeling dry and shows every wrinkle! It doesn't look natural. I can't stand the way my face feels or looks! I've tried other NARS foundations and it's time to find another brand!

PERFECT! (There is a learning curve)

So, Summer is nearly approaching and I wanted something that would not budge... I was very leery of trying this because it is a Matte foundation and I have extremely dry mature skin which does not help. The first time I applied it, I was like oh my gosh, absolutely no way can I wear this! So I did some more searching read more reviews, more people like it than hate it so I thought well, maybe I will try it again. Same thought, nope, I was so disappointed. So, I thought I'd give it one more try... Moisturized prepped my skin like always, used my primer, and then I used the tiniest tiniest amount and put it on my brush... One more of those 2 tiny drops, was more than enough to cover everything; it wasn't thick and cakey. (You have to work extremely quick, But the outcome is amazing! Couldn't be happier! You guys just need to keep at it > very small amounts, and work it fast short strokes with your brush or a sponge

I wanted to love it

This is the first foundation that truly matched my skin. It has a beautiful matte finish & I wanted to love it, but it did not agree with my combo skin and looked flaky on my dry patches.

It was ok

I love the shade range on this foundation and the tube applicator. A little goes a long way as well so I really liked that. BUT it was very eh to me. I have dry skin and this almost made my skin look kind of off honestly. It's got amazing coverage but I just did not like the way it sat on my face... I also felt like I had to touch up and powder my face every couple of hours with the soft matte powder they offer. I just don't think it worked that great for my skin type. Coverage was a 10/10 tho

Selve denne foundation er okay, den dækker godt men er ikke super god på tør hud og creaser let. Hvis man vender bunden i vejret på den ryger det ud i hele låget og sætter sig i kanten og bliver tør..

Foundation Darkens

I bought Macao foundation and within 3-5 hours it made my face look so dark and shiny. I have oily skin.

Don't waste your money

Completely wrong color. I read so many good reviews so I decided to splurge. Big mistake. The color is yellow on me, so the 'match' system used is very wrong. I had to buy blue pigment to mix with it just to wear it. Very dry, not bendable at all.

Took me a while to fall in love with it

At first I didn't understand how to apply this foundation and especially make it look flawless. After trying lots of different ways, I've "made friends" with it at last!! Even though I have comby skin, I have to apply a thick layer of moisturizer and serum and while skin is still sticky, apply the foundation on top. Another way is to add a couple drops to other foundation to make it last longer and get more opaque. And the shade range is on top! I can't live without it now
