SOS Pure Face Mask

Mediocre

Meh. This mask is nothing special. Not horrible, not great. It doesn't make acne worse, but doesn't clear up breakouts very well either. My pores looked no different, so I'm not sure where Clarins is getting the pore-tightening and oil-reducing claims from with this mask. Another reviewer made the comment about their skin feeling like it had a film/residue after using, and I agree. I appreciate the fact Clarins was trying to leave a gentle and soft skin feeling after using, but I would prefer more of a clarifying, oil-reducing and pore-minimizing result, since that is what the mask claims to do. This mask probably would be effective for those who have mature skin or who don't have oily/congested skin and want a lightweight clarifying mask. Since I was using this mask for oil clarifying and acne reducing purposes, I unfortunately did not get the desired results.

This mask feels amazing when its on and my skin feels amazing for a long time after. It does exactly what it says on the bottle. Perfect for controlling my oily skin

Cleans out pores

I love this mask, let me start it by saying this is very creamy and gentle on my skin, I am sensitive and acne prone which is just a nightmare, I have tried so many products but this mask leaves my skin so purified and soft, doesn’t over strip my skin but leaves my pores completely cleaned out, I read another review that said you would only get 4 to 5 uses out of the tube, I don’t know if they meant the sample size or they are lathering it on something but I use this 3 times a week and it lasts me a good 6 months, this is such good values for money for what it does! Will be part of my routine forever

Pricey but Very Nice

I recieved a sample of this mask and I enjoyed it so much, I ended up purchasing a full size. It has a nice thick creamy texture and it feels tingly and cooling on the skin. I follow the directions and remove it with cold water to help further minimize pores. You are left with clean, smooth, matte skin and I really think this helps "re-set" my skin and makes my pores look much smaller. I took off one star because it is quite expensive for the amount of product you get. I think I'll be able to use the full size about 4-5 times.

Everything Clarins is amazing. This mask is great for that rebalance everyone needs after a week of makeup and heavy moisturizer during dry seasons.

Effective

I'm really loving this new mask. It's light and easy to apply, smells wonderful, is easy to wash off, and best of all seems to have really helped restore balance to my acne-prone skin without overdrying it. I've also noticed that if I do break out, it is a lot smaller than it ever was. I am extremely happy with this purchase. I use it twice a week and then lightly moisturize after with the Lotus face oil.

I got a sample of this new mask, and I will get that new one in full format as soon as I have finished that other clay mask I purchased in the same brand. I found that this new version of a clay mask left my skin brighter, I really liked it and I admit that I am refraining from purchasing it because I should finish the other one...Love love...
