A little pricey for how much I go through, but by far the best salt spray I’ve tried. I have fine but wavy/curly hair (and lots of it). This is the best one and done product with no heat tools or anything else required

Way Drying for My Blonde Highlights

I have bought this for decades because it was the best in the market for summer/vacation beach hair but it always dried out my blonde highlights badly and made my hair super crunchy. The gel was no better. Oribe textured spray is my new go-to: FABULOUS!!!

Rating one start - had high hopes for this product but after I used it on my hair it became very tangled and I couldn’t even run my fingers through it to start the scrunch for waves. Will be returning my hair feels awful after use

Amazing

This makes my curls look great. I love using it with damp or even dry hair. It gives me great natural beachy hair with minimal effort. I absolutely love it.

I noticed a little extra body but that’s about it. I would still recommend because my hair is fine & any extra body I can get is a blessing.

I'm not sure if they changed their formula from a few years ago, but this product gave me the worst acne on my scalp...will not be buying again.

I bought it for my son but he said he liked better Amika, this one did not texturize his hair enough .

Wasn’t for me!

This product left my hair feeling sticky and didn’t do much for my waves either, I’ve tried other “surf sprays” and I’d have to say this one in particular is my least favorite.

Great, dries out hair a little

I love how this makes my hair look. I have kind of fine, wavy hair. It works best if I spray it on wet, then scrunch my hair, and then do not touch it at all until it is completely dry. After it's dry I shake out my hair loosely with my fingers (not combing through, just shaking out the clumps of curl) and it looks really lovely. It gives it a really nice beachy Iook with good volume. noticed it does dry my hair out if I use it every day so if I'm not going to be leaving the house I won't use it. My hair is also bleached though so maybe the drying wouldn't be an issue for people who don't color-treat their hair.

I really wanted this to work but alas it did not. I will say it does give you very beachy "feeling" hair but the look is more jet engine chic. Smells nice. When applied, it does set almost instantly. It just did nothing to help tame frizz or define anything for me. I play with my hair a lot during the day too and this had a not great feeling for me. I was looking for something to just spray and go on hot days but I'll have to keep looking.

If you’re looking for frizzy with 80s stringy, crunchy hair, this is the product for you. Forget beach waves or any sort of a wave, as you won’t achieve those with this product. This product is a total waste and I don’t recommend it whatsoever.
