I was always skeptical of ouai but I always heard good things about it. I love the way it smells and it’s perfect for my thick hair! It’s so cool because after ONE use it brought back some of the natural waviness that it had. Complimentary from ouai

The Ouai Thick Shampoo is ideal for my thick hair, which requires additional hydration and care. It reduces dryness and frizz, leaving my hair soft and smooth, owing to components such as keratin and shea butter. It's extremely simple to incorporate into my daily routine! I use it when I wash my hair, and it makes styling much easier while still keeping my hair healthy and manageable. I dye my hair every four months, and I recently dyed it back to my original color after bleaching it. This has significantly altered the overall texture of my hair. Gifted by ouai. <3

This product was gifted by ouai. This product lathers beautifully and it coats the hair nicely. The scent is also very pleasant and a lot less fragrant and floral than their usual products. I like this product, but I don’t love it. I think it does well, but it doesn’t do anything different than another shampoo can do for cheaper.

Gifted by Ouai. The shampoo works so well at targeting the oils on your scalp . It made my hair feel clean without leaving it too dry . The complimenting conditioner made my detangling process go much smoother . Also, both products smell amazing

I’ve been using this shampoo complimentary from ouai for a week now, and I’m already impressed! It lathers beautifully, which makes washing my hair feel luxurious. Plus, it does an excellent job of thoroughly cleansing without stripping away moisture. My hair feels softer, cleaner, and more manageable than ever.

Gifted by Ouai. First off, I really love the scent. I shampooed my thick hair twice using this and it lathered really well. My scalp and hair felt much cleaner after using. It works really well with the complementing conditioner too.

I received this Gifted by ouai but now it will be on my refills list! It is such a great shampoo! It lathers incredibly well and I feel so refreshed after using it! 10/10 scent as well. As someone who struggles with a sensitive scalp this product is great!

Not an hydrating shampoo

GIFTED BY OUAI I was excited to try the OUAI Thick Hair Shampoo, especially since it’s marketed as hydrating and safe for color-treated hair. On the plus side, I loved the clean, fresh scent—it’s subtle and not overpowering. The shampoo lathers really well, which was a pleasant surprise. However, it wasn’t as hydrating as I hoped. After one wash, my hair felt clean but not moisturized, and a second wash left it feeling dry and tangled. For my type 4 color-treated hair, it felt more like a clarifying shampoo. It’s not a bad product, but not ideal if you’re looking for deep hydration.

Ouai kindly gifted me their Thick Hair Shampoo and I’ve really been enjoying it! As someone who has color treated, thick naturally curly hair that tends to get frizzy, using heat styling tools often and use a lot of product on my hair during the week - this shampoo has become a fast favorite! I wash my hair 2 maybe 3 times a week and I can see the magic from this shampoo working in each wash! This shampoo really cleanses my hair, it gets in deep into my hair to wash out whatever product I have in my hair, it leaves me with a really good clean - my hair feels refreshed! I find that it really helps to moisturize my hair which is a big plus especially since I color treat my hair often (I’m a half blonde) and during the colder months my hair can feel a little drier - so this helps to deliver moisture to my mane and it doesn’t disturb my color! I also LOVE the smell of this shampoo - it’s so nice! Amazing job, Ouai team, I’ll definitely be repurchasing once I run out!

MUST HAVE!!

I absolutely love this shampoo! It makes my hair very soft and makes my hair less oily and makes it looks amazing:) I think that having oily thick hair could be hard to deal with but this shampoo has helped my hair continue to stay shiny and more! “complimentary from ouai”

great shampoo for thick hair

I loved their oil so i naturally had to try their shampoo and so far i love it for my thick hair. It smells so good, it lathers great, a little goes a long way and i have thick long hair. it leaves it smooth and shiny and less tangled than other products that I have had. It also kept my hair non greasy for the days i dont wash my hair. Although it was gifted by ouai, this is a must in my shower routine.
