Vanish Airbrush Primer

My first primer ever

I went through a whole value size before writing this. Lasts about 5-6 months, so worth the investment/not having to purchase for awhile. This one is pretty nice. Very true for airbrush effect. Combo-oily skin here. Regardless of the season it will definitely clog your pores. If you’re not taking care of your skin and exfoliating regularly, dead skin cells may be more prone to showing thru over the course of the day. I know now that I definitely do not prefer this one for summer. Doesn’t stand up to the heat as much as I would like it to. Still pretty though. I would say oil control is at least better than not wearing primer under makeup at all. I wish I had more experience with primers to give comparison, but so far this one is nice.

good for combo skin!

in my experience, i find that i don’t need to use a lot of this primer and i only apply it to areas where i tend to get shiny/have pores. it leaves a silky and smooth texture on the skin and i find that it does blur my pores. my skin is much less shiny with this primer and after 7 hours of wear, my makeup still looks freshly applied. only downside is the price point for the 1 oz of product you’re getting so i tend to only use this primer for special occasions

I have combination skin and this primer was not for me. It made my skin very oily by the end of the day.

May cause clogged pores and acne

I really wanted to love this product. I used it for several months thinking it would improve my makeup routine. I had no issues with acne I was told it would help keep my makeup on longer, I was having trouble with my makeup coming off through out the day. Unfortunately it clogged my pores and gave me tons of acne all over my face. Yes I also took it off before bed. I stopped using it and my acne and clogged pores went away. I would say if I am going to use it I will only put it on my eyebrows because I really like how it makes drawing on my eyebrows easier. Hope this helps .

Smooth primer

My favorite silicone based primer. My foundation goes on so smooth and lasts all night. Would recommend

Very creamy and nice on the skin, don’t think it’s worth the price. But if you can spend the money I recommend it.

Good, but not enough for five stars.

For the price, I had high expectations from this. It's good. I'm going to use the whole bottle, but I want to try something else after. It's ok under foundation and to be fair it makes it last longer BUT it doesn't cover my pores at all. So I'm not sure yet if I'm going to repurchase this.

Love this primer! Used it for my bestie’s wedding & my makeup lasted all day with the minimalist oil/shine peeping through. Didn’t flake, cake, or made my skin feel dry underneath!

Irritated my skin and no blurring of large pores

I'lll start with the positive, it was mattifying and I noticed a subtle improvement in longevity. I gave it more than a fair chance, I went through the whole full size bottle. Somehow, it made my darkspots and pores look worse after application, maybe the dimethicone or other silicones in the primer are irritants, also I did not notice any "blurring". This was expensive and i've seen better results from the bobbi brown or hydrogrip primers.

not great for oily skin

i got a sample of this and i really liked it, but when i bought the full size, i returned it bc i felt like it wasn't working as well as it initially did when i first tried it. it looks absolutely beautiful under makeup but it doesn't keep you matte/airbrushed for more than a couple of hours.

Pass for me

It pains me to not give this a great review. It blurred my pores and looked good at the beginning of the day. By the end of the day my foundation was gone on my chin and my nose and it wasn’t because of the foundation.
